Product Description
The High-Speed Friction Washer is designed for intensive cold-water cleaning in plastic recycling plants, with particular suitability for washed PE film such as LDPE and LLDPE agricultural film, packaging film, and stretch film. By using high-speed mechanical friction, it helps loosen dirt, paper fragments, sand, and other surface contaminants from the film before downstream separation and dewatering.
Working Principle
A long, high-speed rotating shaft fitted with multiple inclined paddles agitates the material at more than 1,000 RPM. As the PE film moves through the washing chamber, the rotating action creates strong friction between the material and the surrounding mesh screen, helping loosen stubborn surface dirt and lightweight contaminants. Water jets and spray nozzles rinse the material while allowing water to pass through the mesh with the separated impurities. The washer is installed at an incline, with material entering at the lower end and moving toward the upper discharge. This arrangement increases the material’s residence time for more effective cleaning.
